Anisha's story

'I can see again!'

Anisha’s family realised she had a sight problem when she was only six months old.

But guided by local quacks and priests, the family took it for granted that she was blind and kept her confined to the house for ten years.

Anisha’s family realised she had a sight problem when she was six months old.

Ten years later in a survey for a Sightsavers project, she was identified and diagnosed with bilateral cataract. She was taken to a Sightsavers partner hospital and operated upon. Anisha was excited to be able to see the world around her.

Anisha’s family realised that she had a sight problem when she was six months. Today, Anisha is excited to be able to see the world around her!
