Sindhu’s Story

Sindhu is a Health Worker at Sightsavers’ partner, Nayonika Eye Care Charitable Trust in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As part of Sightsavers’ Urban Eye Health Programme, Sindhu performs Diabetic Retinopathy screening on people living in the urban slums of Bengaluru.

“Having witnessed so many people’s lives transform after being treated for Diabetic Retinopathy, I feel blessed to be a part of this noble cause. Through my work, I want to ensure that every person I meet should have the best possible vision,” she said.
