Eyes OK please

The idea of this report grew out of our experiences of working with truck drivers in 10 locations across India.

Since 2014, this one-of- a-kind intervention identifies the eye care needs of truckers and provides corrective eye glasses. The intervention for truckers is a necessary and welcome addition to enhance road safety in India.

This report is an attempt to document, for the first time in India, the need for eye health care interventions as well as truckers’ own views on the vital issue of vision.
