Rapid Assessment of Avoidable Blindness in Alipurduar District, West Bengal

The study aims to generate key epidemiological evidence to support eye health planning and establish baseline data for interventions in Alipurduar, West Bengal. It assess the prevalence and major causes of blindness and visual impairment among people aged 50 years and above, while also examining cataract surgical coverage, visual outcomes following surgery, and barriers to accessing cataract services.
